Free Backup Server with Lo Jack® Theft Recovery
Carroll-Net provides each customer with their own Healthy Server™. Each night, customer backups are sent to their Healthy Server then transmitted to our Datacenter. If a customer needs to restore a file or even recover an entire server, all their data is immediately available on their Healthy Server. If the customer is ever prohibited from accessing their office, they have access to all their data stored at our Datacenter.
To protect the server from theft each Healthy Server is equipped with LoJack® Theft Recovery. If a server is ever stolen, Law Enforcement will track the thieves right to their hideout. The technology works, even if the thieves try to disassemble the server. And each server is equipped with a Logic Bomb™, which enables Carroll-Net to remotely erase customer data from stolen equipment. |  | Free Snapshots
Each Healthy Server performs daily snapshots using Microsoft® Volume Shadow Copy. Customers tell us this is one of their favorite features – knowing their snapshots are easily browesable from anywhere on the network (password protected of course). And because snapshots use unallocated disk space, there’s no charge! For most customer’s, it means months of revisions available right at their finger tips. | | Daily Virus Checkup
Every day, the Healthy Server scans backups looking for viruses, spyware and nefarious software. If detected it immediately sends the customer an email alert that identifies what it found. And It alerts Carroll-Net engineers, to assist customers with the cleanup. | | Automatic Server Health Monitoring
Healthy Server’s do their work after you’ve gone home so it’s important that Healthy Servers perform careful checkups during regular business hours. If a Healthy Server detects a problem with a customer’s server or the customer’s Internet, an alarm is raised at the Carroll-Net Datacenter, and an engineer will call you to discuss the situation.
