Before beginning full-scale construction of the client's site redesign, we will transform the previous Requirements into a detailed blueprint of the application, which will define how the system will work. By formalizing the design of the application and producing a descriptive document, solution construction is simplified because our creative and technical experts can work almost exclusively from the design document approved by client. For example, while the Requirements document might identify the features required for the end-to-end e-commerce solution, the design document describes each feature and the details of how it will be implemented, along with its integration in the overall client web site.
This document will summarize the design and development process, review the pros and cons of the different potential design and implementation options, and recommend a detailed solution design. During the design phase, we will also probably build a working prototype of the proposed design. While seldom fully functional, a prototype will provide you with a very tangible sense and overall look-and-feel of a proposed solution. Click below for theNext Step
